Thank you for visiting our giving back page. Hair, makeup, fashion, red carpet, and glamour are all our passions in our work world. However, in our personal world and those that know us, know that dogs and animals are our personal passion, throughout our lifetimes we’ve spent many years rescuing dogs, placing them in homes, giving them homes as well as medical need and raising money to help various dog rescues throughout the Bay Area.
Our connection to dogs is the unconditional love that they give to all the humans in the world. No matter what kind of day you have or no matter where you’ve been; when you come home, your dogs are always happy to see you. It’s unfortunate we have a place in the world where sometimes dogs are mistreated, left behind, or taken to shelters where they are often euthanized. It has been our passion throughout our lives to help save dogs from these horrible situations. We have fostered, found homes for, given medical care to, rescued and adopted several dogs throughout our lives.
We thank you for visiting our Giving Back page, as there’s a lot of places that do good work in the community where we can give our money and support. One of our favorite charities is Dogma, our local puppy rescue. Dogma rescues pregnant dogs, giving them a safe place to have their puppies. Dogma then cares for the pups until they are old enough to be adopted out.
Another passion charity is Muttville of San Francisco. Muttville is a senior dog rescue and a recipient of CNN hero award. They rescue dogs out of shelters who are above seven years old and may have been left there because the family cannot care for them. They are often abandoned, abused, and in need of special medical attention.
It is sad to think after a family has brought a dog into their home, welcome them, love them, and then they would just abandon them breaks our hearts. Maybe the person just passed; regardless, these dogs are left behind afraid, confused, and lonely. That is why we’re dedicated to rescuing dogs thru organizations like Dogma and Muttville, and also giving back.
